Directions
BY CAR
From Downtown San Diego. Take I-5 South exit Pershing. Take right on Redwood and a right on 30th. Continue onto Fern St. Make sure to check out the shops & restaurants around Fern & Ivy St. then head down Fern St. which turns into 30th and you will continue onto Beech St. for the next business shopping and eating area.
Lodging
There are a myriad of hotels located in Downtown San Diego which is a short drive away from South Park. In the North Park neighborhood, bordering University Heights we love the historic Lafayette Hotel.
Many vacation rentals can also be found in South Park and encourage to peruse sites like VRBO or AirBnB for options.
Transportation
BY BIKE
South Park is a bike friendly neighborhood. You can rent a bike from Downtown SD here. There are some big hills so make sure to map your route before taking the cruise. Balboa Park is right between Downtown and South Park and is a great site to see on your way here!
OTHER TRANSPORTATION
South Park is a walkabout urban neighborhood once you arrive and easily accessible through public transportation, ride share services, taxis should you not have a car of your own to explore!
